The AF2/E outdoor temperature sensor offers a precise and reliable way to measure temperatures in the range of -50 to +90°C. By using a sensor inside the external probe tube, the AF2/E features a particularly fast response time, allowing for accurate detection of temperature fluctuations. This temperature sensor is available with a variety of common sensors such as Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni1000, KTY, NTC, LM235Z, etc. The AF2/E outdoor temperature sensor has a 2-wire connection and a measuring current of approximately 1 mA, allowing for easy installation and integration into existing systems. The screw terminals accommodate cables with a cross-section of up to 1.5 mm² and ensure a reliable electrical connection. With an insulation resistance of over 100 MOhm at +20°C (500 V DC), the sensor guarantees a safe and stable measurement. The housing of the AF2/E is made of robust polyamide and is equipped with quick-release screws, allowing for easy mounting and maintenance. The protective sleeve is made of high-quality stainless steel VA 1.4571 and provides reliable shielding for the sensor. The IP65 protection rating ensures that the sensor operates reliably even under adverse weather conditions. Thanks to its compact dimensions of L 64 x W 58 x H 34.5 mm and the PG11 cable gland with strain relief, the AF2/E is easy to install and is ideal for use in weather-dependent areas such as outdoor walls.
